Awards and Annual Recognition of Members
All active members of the Association are eligible to receive an award or special recognition. Nominations are open annually on October 1, and will remain open until January 15 of each respective year. Awards will presented at either the Annual Awards reception or at the awardees City Council or Board meeting, at the discretion of the Association Board of Directors
Two awards, the Honorary Life Member and President's Award are infrequently presented at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Outstanding Board or Commission
The most prestigious award presented to a city or special district is the Outstanding Commission/District award.

Outstanding Commissioner
The most coveted individual award presented by the Association is the Outstanding Commissioner.

Outstanding Professional
Each year an outstanding professional is recognized for his/her contributions to the profession. Often this individual has given above and beyond the call of duty. Complete the following application to help recognize your deserving professional.

Outstanding Project or Program
Park agencies and Special Districts often offer programs that far exceed the norm. Equally, new projects are created that deserve special recognition. Consequently, this award provides the opportunity for Association members to "show off" that exceptional program or project to others.
