 Myrtle Braxton-Ellington has served on the CAPRCBM Board of Directors since 1991 and was president in 1995-1996. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of NRPA Citizens-Board Member Branch since 1998, representing the State of California and is the past National President of the branch, having served that group in 2004.
Myrtle had served on the City of Richmond Recreation and Parks Commission, with many terms as chairperson. She has been very active on the CPRS Legislative Committee and advocacy at the national level with Members of Congress. Myrtle is active in the following organizations: Crime Prevention, Greater Richmond Interfaith Program, President of Laurel Park Neighborhood Council, Chair of Church & Society Committee of Easter Hill U. M. Church, member: Board of West County League of Women Voters, Richmond Friends of Recreation, Member of Richmond Recreation Commission's Park Committee, Elderly and Disabled Advisory Committee of Metropolitan Transportation Commission |
