 Ernie Rodriguez was elected for 28 years to the Livermore Parks & Recreation District Board, and during that tenure was a member of the California Parks & Recreation Districts Board for 22 years. He then moved to the City of Brentwood where he has now served 3 years on the Parks and Recreation Commission, most recently as the chair. He joined the CAPRCBM Board of Directors in 2003. Ernie has received many Awards for his recreation and community involvement as well as being active in Rotary, VFW, American Legion and Kiwanis. A Softball Complex was named in his honor in 2003 in Livermore.
