Also teach online course in life writing and serve as Commissioner of the San Clemente Beaches, Parks, and Recreation Commission (11 years) Previous college and university administrator: Served as chancellor of Johnston College; president of the College of the Tehachapis; dean of experimental education and director of career services, UCLA; dean of students, Cal State, Northridge; among other positions college professor: four-year college and university experience includes teaching management and education courses at such institutions as UCLA, Cal State Los Angeles, Northridge, and Dominquez Hills, Loyola Marymount University, among others. Community college teaching is primarily in English at Saddleback, El Camino, and Los Angeles Trade Technical colleges Additional Information Lived in England as a youth. Served four years in U.S. Navy during Korean Conflict. First career was in theatre and television, including national theatre tour and two years in Germany as a civilian producer/director of soldier shows, sound crew on Desilu, Giant, Danny Thomas and other productions.
