Peter began his term with the Board as a Director in 2002.
He comes to CAPRCBM as a representative from the Carmichael Recreation and
Park District (Carmichael RPD) where he serves as a Member of the Board of
Directors. Carmichael RPD is a "special district" that provides park
and recreation services to its residents. Peter began serving on the
Board in 2000 and served as Chairman of the Board in 2003. In addition
to the Carmichael RPD Board, he is very involved with the County of
Sacramento and his Carmichael community where he has served on the American
River Parkway Plan Update Committee, the Carmichael Community Planning
Advisory Council, the Sacramento County Human Services Coordinating Council,
the Sacramento County Public Health Advisory Board, and the Sacramento
County Children's Coalition. Peter also served as President of CAPRCBM
during the 2005-2006 year. In his professional life, Peter handles
Intergovernmental Affairs for California's Third Congressional District
Representative, Dan Lungren. |
